Questions & Answers

If I don’t go to this dentist can I still get a braces appointment?

Yes, we no longer offer dental care in this office; we are only providing Orthodontic Care! Please feel free to call and set up a complimentary new patient consultation! THX!

Is this office still open? Everytime I call the office I get an away message eventhough I am calling during business hours!

Can you guys continue someone’s process even though they already have braces on?

Larry Moray | Sep 10, 2020

Definitely, but as Hilton stated we'd need to see what braces you are wearing and what additional work you need. If you'd like you can complete a virtual consultation through our website and we can assess your needs and options!

It really depends on our schedule and whether we need prior authorization from your insurance. Best case answer is YES!! Worse case it could take a month! Hope that helps?? Thx

How long does it take teeth to shift after you lose your retainer

Dylan Haas | Sep 11, 2018
Larry Moray | Sep 11, 2018

It depends on several factors, the most important being the amount of time that you've been out of braces. The longer you have been out of braces the more stable your teeth should be (at least in theory), BUT like everything else on our bodies, your teeth will tend to shift over time whether you've had braces or not. As such the best plan is to wear retainers as much as you can for as long as you can, even if it's just a couple of nights a week. If you notice movement when the retainers aren't in your mouth (for example, you are only wearing them at night and your teeth shift during the day) you should get back to your orthodontist ASAP as something is contributing to a lack of stability and over the long haul the contact back and forth movement of your teeth isn't a healthy place to be! Hope that answers your question??
