It was windy and wet while we were there. But not that cold. The waves were magnificent and the clouds ever shifting. We took our shoes off and luxuriated in the light sand. There wasn’t a lot of flotsam and jetsam from the storm. Barely a thing to pick up and wonder over. But that was OK because we were on to more adventures that day. I got to take my best friend from high school here, it was the first time that she got to see the ocean in person. She was giddy with delight and I don’t blame her.

This park was right off the ocean and had several parking spots, right up the right from the horseback riding too

The best place for horseback riding on the Oregon coast! Bring cash for the day use parking at the boat ramp area ($4) and don’t be afraid to leave your trailer parked there all day. Explore many miles of forest and beach trails. Ride along the top of the dune ridges with an amazing view. Don’t forget to start your ride tracking app when you set out, and drop a pin for your location in case you get lost!

We loved the beach at this State Park. Easy to find, close parking, and a clean porta potty (the regular bathroom was closed).

Technically no, but I doubt anyone would bug you. Hebo Lake is close by with camping.
Well I guess it would depend on how you like to camp,if you only wanted to throw down a sleeping bag and catch some zzz's there is plenty of spots you could do so,however if you are into the hole 9yards,tent camp fire, and such that's not really the spot, but of you was camping in a car or truck once again just for a night to get some sleep I believe that would be a good place to do so
