Just a very decent room at the right price. Since there was a lot of loud activity in lobby and pool, staff was nice enough to put us on other side without a fight or hesitation. Stayed for visit to Great America Santa Clara. 12pm checkout helps! No valet currently, but tons of parking in structure right behind it.

Positive: Great location in proximity to Great America, you can walk to the park from the hotel. Great clean pool area, all amenities are working. Restaurant in the lobby has delicious food! Negative: Hotel bed was super uncomfortable. Sheets are rougher than cardboard. Stale & stuffy air in the room. There NEEDS to be more filtration and more air flow from outside into the room! MUST get a room with a balcony if you want to be able to breathe!

Positive: The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I told the receptionist that I would write something nice about him. He was very helpful. The room was very quiet and well designed. I had a good experience. I would return if the occasion arose. Negative: Yes. I arrived at 10:30 PM. I was starving, but the kitchen had closed at 10 PM. Of course, there was no room service and no place to eat.

This hotel is in need of some serious updating. The furniture is old, and the bathrooms are outdated with patch up work and peeling wallpaper. The hallways are very loud - doors slam, so your morning comfort depends on how early your neighbors decide to start their days. The location is great and having the market downstairs is nice. The rooms seemed to be cleaned well. It's definitely not as upscale as the pictures and reviews make you think.
