Wonderful experience very strenuous hard climbing rocks and very low clearances! 😖 Very beautiful cave highly recommend visiting this Ohio hidden gem!

The Seneca Caverns are a great place to explore and learn about the underground world. The guides are very knowledgeable and make the experience enjoyable. The caverns are beautiful and the kids loved seeing all the different formations. The caves might not be for everyone though as they have some tight and low places that might not be enjoyable for tall or heavy people.

This was absolutely awesome. My husband and I found so many gems. We're definitely going back in August and taking the cave tour too. The staff are incredibly nice and extremely knowledgeable. This was definitely the highlight of our little vacation. I wish I could give 20 stars ⭐ ⭐ !!

Our family had a wonderful time here! Ages ranging from 9 years old to 35 years old and we all made it! There are some pretty steep, slippery, and tight spaces to get through, but it is worth it! I highly recommend doing the tour! Our guide Josh was super informative and funny too! The gift shop had beautiful items priced very fairly. The staff was super friendly too! There is also a place to mine your own bag of dirt to find the treasures you got inside! I would do it again in the future because I enjoyed it so much! Must go see!!!

At the time we were there, we went down to the sixth level, which was about 100 feet down
Pants and a lite jacket or hoodie I would suggest I went in the summer time it was high 80s outside so me and my kids went in the caves with shorts and a t shirt and it was a bit cold in the caves
Good afternoon and thank you for your interest in visiting Seneca Caverns. Seneca Caverns is closed every year from November through April because we do not have enough visitors this time of the year to warrant staying open. We will reopen as always the first weekend of May 2022. Thanks!
It's safe. I wouldn't take kids younger than 3, someone who is claustrophobic, or someone who can't bend/climb. The trail was a little slippery, but we had a blast with 2 adults and a 3 and 5 year old. I would also, and this is my opinion, have one adult per child so you can help them climb/keep an eye on them.
They have a picnic area but no you don't need a flashlight. There's no problem bringing one though.
No, I would but recommend it for some one who cannot walk. It has steep incline and somewhat tight space.
I would skip. It is not accessible at all
Went about 4 or 5 not sure about a month ago. Was pretty cool. I can only imagine you get another level or 2 the later you go into sunmer
No
Not a good idea. There are some places that are so tight you have to bend & almost crawl through
Yes level 6 for us as well
