David Farella and his team did a wonderful job with selecting and installing blackout shades for three large windows in a new condo in Cow Hollow. B&D had previously worked with the property developer to provide shades for other units in the building which probably helped make things go fairly smoothly. David himself came to the property in person to perform the measurements and discuss options which was valuable. The shades were ordered from Hunter Douglas Architectural and Mecho. All use a motorized control from Somfy Systems. B&D's main technician Rony, who has been with the company since 2004, by himself installed the Hunter Douglas shades for two of the three window treatments. This installation took about four hours. Rony also diligently answered questions regarding proper care and maintenance for the shades and motor unit. The entire process from when the order was finalized and the down payment was made to when the shades were actually installed in the unit on two separate days was 8 weeks. The quality of the shades and installation is high. There is a reason this company has been in business in the Bay Area for nearly 30 years. It was a privilege to work with such a professional and caring team.

David who runs the company came up with a solution to a very difficult window to cover. It is an 18 foot west facing window. I can't say enough about his professionalism and his style and taste. My wife and I were so pleased with the work. Highly recommend this company!

The showroom is currently open by Appointment only to better manage the amount of people in the showroom at any one time. Good Morning Martha. We install all types of window treatments but just those we measure and provide. So the curtains would have to be from us and installed on a new track or one that already exists in your home that had been installed before If you just need a track installed often times if you look on your local Craigslist you can search for drapery installations under services and find some to take care of this for you I hope this helps.
