Absolutely delicious! The Saag Gosht (spinach and lamb) went perfectly with the basmati rice! The 3 of us split 1 curry and 1 rice as a follow up meal/snack and it was the perfect size for us! The water and cutlery is all self service and it’s hot and humid inside - especially on a hot summer day.

Simply put, this is quantity over quality. I, like many others, did a simple Google search for south Asian food in San Francisco and this place showed up and was open around the time that I was in town. Excited after looking at the pictures, safe to say, as quick as I was able to reach this place, my hopes diminished just as fast. The food that we ordered specifically the achari chicken, kebabs, tikka, biryani, were barely even recognizable as the aforementioned foods. They were incredibly bland and tasteless and honestly it was a disservice to its name sake. I think who they cater to are predominantly the non-South Asian community who may be coming when they are drunk or just needing some kind of food to help suppress the intoxication. The only thing positive I can say about this place is truly the quantity of food they give you, the garlic naan, as well as the timings that they are open.

Always my go-to when I'm looking for affordable comfort food. Helps that they're open late. I often get the saag daal and an order of vegetable samosas to share. Tasty food, but the dining area can feel a little unclean and hectic at times. I usually order to-go.
