As of Jun 10, 2021 the offices are still closed to the public citing COVID-19 restrictions. They are also closed every other Friday. I wasn't able to determine if they would be open the following Friday or not.

how can I apply ? where can I get an application for Section 8 online?
I have been on Section Eight for 20 yes. Do we have priority I see no reason for not doing this I am a Senior and looking for a place for Senior. I want to meet some friends..
It depends on what program you have applied for and through. The waiting period differs from program to program.
You must do the change by writing to them by mail.
I was told because they are so backlogged and in the last few weeks before they are done with the cases, that they are far too busy interviewing and researching all of the applicants that they have no time at all whatsoever to return or answer any phone calls or emails. Your best bet would be to drop any documents, or questions on paper in their front door slot and knock on the door loudly until someone answers. If they do, just hand it to them and tell them who and what it's for if they don't, just drop it in anyway, because they will make sure it gets to the right place.
ive been waiting for 6 yrs. ive updated my info with house authoritybut still no response is there anything i need to farther do
Valeria Garcia 7 months ago How do i get a section 8 application?
No
I am sorry your family is going this. I wish i could be more helpful but we are only local guides and can not answer questions of this matter. You would have to talk to someone at Housing authority, or perhaps an eviction lawyer. Many lawyers offer a free consultation. Try searching on line for forums or websites where you can ask the community questions. From previous experience, I can tell you a landlord has to follow proper procedure when evicting tenants. The landlord has to give you an eviction notice. You have the right to get all your belongings out before the date specified on the eviction notice. A landlord can not shut you out of your apartment without handing you such notice. Why is a police escort not enough to gather your belongings? If you paid your rent and didn't owe any money, why did the landlord evict you? Regardless, a landlord cannot evict you from one day to the next. They have to serve you the notice first. Best wishes and best of luck to all of you
You can go online and go to the State or County want to live in. The site will let you know if they are taking applications.
Also, if he isn't there to attend, they will make you another appt. for a time that he should be there and that just prolongs your waiting status even longer. I know this because even though I believed I had all the paperwork they needed, they found that I didn't, and I didn't receive another appt. For another month! So, I would just delete him for now because he is in essence, just holding you up, and it could cause you problems if he can seem to never be there for any updated appointments. Because they will question you then about your initial application with him on it, I would say that he is no longer wanting section 8, so you wanted to move on with the process without him and you done want him counted. When he finally does return, then you can add him to your application. Because if you say you removed him due to him being away for work or whatever, they will STILL give you another appointed date for when he can be there and that just prolongs, like I said before, your waiting.
No just verifying info but if everything's verified it won't take long if you have all your paperwork they need
Contact the housing Authority at 123 Rico St @ Rossi. They have a worker that handles immediate or special needs as for her at the front desk I think her first name might be Maria? She will explain how they assist households with a family member that has a disability.
