Went for a wedding. Great venue. Can't comment about hotel itself as I didn't stay there. Appetizers and dinner excellent. Caterer also excellent, very much made sure all guests were taken care of from water on the tables to dietery requests. Really, she was unusually impressive. Wonderful location for an outside wedding on the rooftop.

This place is great. Complimentary valet, someone is always there if you need something, the food is great. The room was huge, and really nicely maintained. You also couldn’t hear any other guests in their room (top or neighboring) and the hotel was sold out. My family of 4 enjoyed the accommodations and everything it had to offer. My only complaint is that we had a very intimate view of the AC unit for the hotel. We couldn’t see anything other than that and for $400 a night, that’s not what I want to be looking at. Would absolutely stay again, but would request a room with an unobstructed view.

The hotel was clean, very nice looking, and well maintained. We didn’t interact much with the staff but they all seemed friendly. With the exception of the very small bathroom, our first floor studio suite was spacious with high ceilings and a large kitchenette. My wife and I especially enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. But in a beach town, location is everything. And I just can’t get past the poor location. An upscale hotel like this should be either beach or bay front. But instead, the building is in-between the eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 72 and due to road construction in April 2022, there’s no safe or easy way to walk anywhere besides the adjacent stores. Noise is also a big problem due to poor exterior and interior soundproofing. We could easily hear cars and trucks during the day and jackhammers throughout the night. We could also hear voices through closed hotel room doors when walking down halls. It didn’t help that the hotel staff failed to keep us informed about the construction and temporary road closures. We tried to make a Wawa run one night and found that 72 eastbound, the only way to get to the rest of the island, was closed for resurfacing. We had to drive the wrong way down a one way street and cut through a store parking lot to work our way around it. We really wanted to like Hotel LBI and we did enjoy parts of our stay. But I can’t recommend it with these problems.

We stayed 1 week from Thursday to Wednesday over Easter. We booked a 2 bedrooms with king beds, for 2 adults and 2 kids. Price is ok as I guess everything is a bit more expensive around Easter Sunday. The room price increased from 299 to 459 just for the Friday and Saturday, it seems a bit excessive. Room was large, cleanness could be better but I will come back on that topic. Our room was not ready at 4pm. We had to wait until 5:20pm. Do not get all your stuff from your car until they confirm room is ready We ate at the restaurant on our first night. The food was really good and we wanted to come back on our last night but they are closed Monday and Tuesday unfortunately. We cooked dinner the other nights and there is minimum equipment but it was sufficient. Only expect to cook simple dinner and to use the dishwasher every night as there would not be enough dishes for the next morning. Hotel had multiple wedding in a row so it was packed of guest coming for 1 night max and it creates massive amount of work for the cleaning staff and now I understand better why our room was not ready on time. I saw cleaning staff exhausted by the afternoon and noticed rooms left in terrible state by guest. I really believe staff do their best under the circumstances. Our room was at the very end of the 3rd floor (top floor) which is a perk as it is much more quiet. Otherwise expect to hear your neighbor and all the kids running in the hallway. I will conclude my review with the pool. The size is not adapted to the hotel capacity. It could be easily double the size. For me it was a huge disappointment and seriously dangerous. There is no supervision so you see kids and teenagers diving from everywhere and in the middle of people. Expect to be kicked under the water, and to be splashed. We ended up going only when not crowded which was super rare.
