I've tried many shoe repair shops in the city -- ones with more reviews, bigger shops, etc -- but James does the best work. James is one of the last true craftsmen who will both appreciate the beauty and construction of a shoe, while recommending the best option for replacement. Which often enough, is actually a less expensive option. His work and materials are top-notch and he goes above and beyond with rush jobs, once even insisting on delivering it to my office at 9pm. Which reminds me, you think you work hard? He works his tail off - 6 days a week. Highly recommended as the best shoe repair in the city.

James did the most beautiful job of reviving my worn out circa 1998 Tod boots. They were so worn, the soles had holes and the leather was bone dry. Hadn’t worn them in years when my daughter suggested I look into getting them repaired. I’m so glad I did! They are my favorite pair of shoes and I’m glad they’ve been given a new life! Thank you James!
