Third place with plenty of cozy places to sit down and enjoy a book. Cafe had hand pies. We tried the Greek and chicken curry both of which were tasty. The crust on the curry hand pie was flakier of the two. The store is in a historic building with deep roots in the community. Don't miss the staff picks shelf immediately to the right of the door upon entering. Dogs are welcome.

This is one of the quaintest coffee & beer bar / bookstores that I’ve been to! Located on the corner of one of the most historic streets in New England. Incredibly cozy place to shop for books and read. They have good snacks and a great tea selection. Their cookies are also delicious - really flavorful without being too sweet. This is fast becoming one of my favorite places in the stockade district.
