I'm originally from Sacramento and Bay Area, moved out of state where they do not have a Boudin. When I came to visit family in Sacramento, we just had to make a stop at one; I'm happy to know there is one in Sacramento since we were not able to make it to the Bay Area this trip. Great service. Great food. Just like I remember, only no pigeons at your side the entire time you eat, or the fun sound of sea lions in the background. I did slightly miss the begging pigeons fluttering to your table or the table next to you, eyeing you, waiting patiently for something edible to fall from your tray.

My sister and I go in there a lot for lunch seems that over time the service has gotten very bad and the servers a few of them are very rude the other day when we were in there we placed our order and not the first time not the second time not the third time for the fourth time the order was not right as the server brought back the order because the kitchen was not paying attention as to what was written from the cashier she conveniently slammed the salad down on the table and walked away, this BoDeans used to be a nice place to go to very friendly and the food was great unfortunately like I said the servers not all of them but enough to not want to make you go back there anymore are rude and the food I hate to say is a hit and miss.

I did takeout so did not take a look to see if they were allowing people to use the outdoor area. There is NO indoor dining.

You can register your card on their website.
They can sign you up at the cash register in the restaurant.
Not off the menu but you can ask!
Check their website. I don't know.
Boudin bread is San Francisco sourdough, not plain white bread. It comes in all different shapes - round, oblong, rolls, sometimes animal shapes. The crust is firm, chewy, delicious sourdough.
I've had it happen one time in two years. But I'm also not really there at close.
