The care at St. Elizabeth's was excellent! The cardiac team gave me a lot of faith that I was in good hands. My only complaint is that it's too cold in the unit, to keep the computers running they tell me. I must have gone through about 50 microwaved blankets.

Suregeon was great but absolute worst nursing staff there is floor 9). Went 12 hours without ice after total knee replacement. Had to stay over. Broken television and filthy conditions. Pictures to support it. Actually watched a CNA throw paper towel on floor and it stayed to the next morning. Finally after hours of waiting to be discharged had to walk out on my own - with walker, ice bucket and personal bag. All with a total knee replacement on day before. Horrible experience

Not sure about St. Elizabeth's medical record policy. My local PCP's office charges nothing for the initial request. It may even depend on who you ask? I'd call the MR dept and ask. If they say it's free, then great. If not, and you have a good rapport with your MD, call their receptionist or Medical Asst, and see what they say.
Good Morning, Sorry, I don't know? I went there because of an Otolaryngologist I'd been following for years at Lahey, moved there to become head of there Otolaryngology dept. However I can say that if I were to need any serious medical care or surgery in the Northeast, I would search for a provider in Boston.
I am pretty sure there are some spots out of the hospital. Like one I know is in front of Cambridge street entrance
Yes, that's what I had. Most hospitals take almost all insurance. Deductible, copay.

You'll be in my prayers now as well, you're in great hands at St. Elizabeth's. Take great care and May God Bless you Michael...
