On the smaller side of state parks but makes up for that being a beautiful park with a great small campground. Great rangers, awesome people at an awesome concession stand that offers basic groceries as well as gifts, ice, and wood. They're prepared food is awesome as well. Prices aren't bad. Typical concession food.

Everything was clean, the trails, beach, restrooms ect. What a wonderful place to camp! We will definitely return asap.

This is an awesome place. The beach was clean. The buildings are well maintained. The concession stand was affordable and has something for everyone. Plenty of picnic tables available on a first come first serve basis. Enjoy the water. Enjoy the trails. Enjoy the views.

Super fun! Never crowded! Clean for lake water! Water is always nice! Most of the time the concessions is open and the people are great! This time they had sunscreen dispensers :0 ! That was perfect!

There are designated dog camping sites and I'm not sure about if they're allowed in the water or not.
They have up to 5 ft marked off to swim. About 2 foot past the 5ft rope it drops off a few more feet deep. Plenty deep enough for small boats, and kayaks, and fishing.
Yes Poe Valley is stocked several times a year. You can find the Stocking schedule on the fish commission website. It's in center county in caae you need that info
we got an RV site and set up ⛺ wherebthey have electric .
Rain would certainly not improve the gravel road but would keep the dust down. Many very narrow spots so visibility could be an issue.
No, about 10 minutes up the mountain there is a small lot where you can get service, there is a sign that says phone trail or something like that
No, there is a filling station at the entrance to the camp loop and then you can dump there as well
The weather obviously depends on the day, but the water is usually always a nice temperature and it's also very clear.
Refrigerator yes, stove not sure, we were in cottage they do not, the site tells you of amenities per deluxe cabins
Yes
Depends on a few variables such as whether or not the site you want has electric, whether you're staying in a cabin or towing in a camper/tenting, etc. There may be info on the DCNR website but I'm not 100% sure. But you can check out this link I found for reserving a spot. https://www.reserveamerica.com/explore/poe-valley-state-park/PA/880118/campsite-availability
You will come across the station as you enter the park
Yes. Several picnic tables with grills. One pavilion. I believe they put new grates on the grills this year as well.
We rode only the dirt bike/dual-sport motorcycle trails.
They are there for public use but non-campers are charged a fee for usage.
Poe valley is named for the mountain it lies on, Poe Mountain.
