I had a horrible experience with Donna Dietzal as my agent -- I was told an initial premium cost and that I would get an additional discount if I paid it in full. A month later I get a bill and see my premium increased by $1500 without any notification. After calling Donna, she says it was due to my nondisclosure of two accidents -- which I have EMAILED PROOF of sending to her. She tried to gaslight me and said I never told her despite me reading the email exchange word for word. So it was either gross incompetence on her part or fraud, either way I would hesitate to do business with this company. I found coverage for $1400 less doing it myself online. I have no proof of this next incident, but I had illegal charges on my debit card a few days after emailing her my debit card information. I have since cancelled it. Do what you will with this information!

Thank you Barbara for helping me with my insurance policy!

Very unfortunately, I had very bad experience with this agency for my Auto policy. There was misinformation and misrepresentation, as I tried to get some explanation from the manager Barbara, she was extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. As I invited her to calm down and talk to me and provide some explanation/information, she was yelling and shouting even more. I contacted the main insurance carrier company to see what's going on. They informed me my car never had coverage even though I made payments towards my premium. it was shocking to me! I was happy with the previous insurance agent, Bob and Kelly before Kaplansky took over. Kaplansky unfortunately really dropped the ball, they couldn't even get one simple bill amount right. What I received from my insurance carrier was much less than what Kaplansky asked me to pay for the same Auto policy and same period of time, I have been with my insurance company for years but since kaplansky got involved as an agent, things have been terrible!

The agents that work at Kaplansky are fantastic! Quick to respond and happy to assist with what the customer's needs are! I highly recommend this agency to anyone looking to navigate their insurance needs.

Absolutely YES! If you can package your home and auto together with the same insurance company you should do it. There could be significant cost savings involved, in addition to other benefits.
When you apply for an insurance policy, you will be asked a number of questions. For example, the agent might ask you your name, age, gender, address, etc. In addition, you will be asked a number of other questions which will be used to determine how likely you are to make a claim. When an insurance company is deciding whether or not to offer car insurance to a potential customer, it will want to know about the person’s previous driving record, whether they have any recent accidents or tickets, and what type of car is to be insured. Insurance companies have different programs for different customers. Adults with good driving records will generally pay less for auto insurance than will a young driver with traffic tickets. In order to determine which program you qualify for, an insurance company needs basic information about you. In addition to your age, gender and driving experience, information about the vehicle you drive, and how you drive it, is also needed to determine a fair price. For example, a large luxury car costs more to repair or replace than a sub-compact; and, someone who commutes 30 miles each way is more likely to be in an accident than someone who rides the bus to work and drives only on weekends.
