Worst experience EVER! Dr Fenton had a consult call with my son who has serious back issues. That “western” medicine caused, but can not repair. We came to realize that regenative medicine could be a possible help to him. Dr Fenton had my son SO POSITIVE after the consult. My son is very knowledgeable about his diseases, and he was very impressed with Dr Fenton’s plan. And ready to drive from Boston to Vermont, no matter how uncomfortable. I’ve never seen him so excited, and so believing this doctor understood his issues. Fenton sends a plan, we call to make the in-person procedure appointments. The secretary stumbles around and says “Dr Fenton has decided he doesn’t want to move forward with your son.” WHAT?? My son is thrilled with this doctor. Excited to start treatments. Why?? “He just doesn’t think he can help him now.” We FINALLY get Fenton on the phone again, after begging. He agrees with my son that his negative decision was hasty, and he WILL move forward. We call to se the appointment a few days later. “Dr Fenton has chose to not move forward…again.” WHAT? Why would he do that to that to someone suffering. To get their Hope up? “The doctor really wears his heart on his sleeve.” No…THAT IS JUST THE OPPOSITE! He has NO FEELINGS or REGARDS for my son’s mental state, and BELIEF in him! His office says we should consult with his colleague in CT…who was far less knowledgeable, caring, and actually, rude. Since then, my son has gotten worse and in more pain as the weeks and months progressed. His fate is clear. We hope Fenton can live with himself. And his “heart on his sleeve.”

Dr Fenton has treated me for a long time and treated multiple injuries. Aside from being very precise, his knowledge base is remarkable. He has kept me from having shoulder and more spine surgery and I am forever grateful to him and his kind staff for sticking with me. He is direct and honest and it is so refreshing to have a Doctor like him.Thank you Dr Fenton!

I Had PRP injections done in both of my knees and it helped me tremendously in my recovery. I am able to walk again pain free. I am very thankful to Vermont Regenerative team and Dr. Fenton for their help.

Had PRP injections done in my shoulder for torn tendon and partial tears. After 3 months 90% pain free from one treatment. This stuff WORKS! Too bad FDA and burocracy are getting in the way of insurance covering these so its out of pocket but still worth it! Lower cost would be appreciated. Price doubled in last few years.

This is not the forum for discussion as it is not private. Please call the office. Typical number of treatments needed depends on the pathology being treated. Number to treat for typical knee is 1.6, for shoulder is 2-3.
We are above the Rite Aid / Walgreens pharmacy on main st. Enter through he back, second floor
Since I’m away teaching in Denver now and then working in Cayman next week probably 4-6wks for me and 2-3 weeks for my associate Dr Musman
there are no stem cells in any birth tissues used or sold in the USA or Canada. All products are sterilized and therefore have no viable cells. There are also no studies for their use beyond as a scaffold for muscle and tendon injuries. Please be aware that any USA/Canadian clinic claiming stem cells in these products is committing consumer fraud, as per the FDA and FTC.
Our office strictly treats orthopedic conditions, and we only use stem cells from the marrow of the patient being treated - those cells are processed and reinjected on the same day, with no risk of rejection.
At our office we make different concentrations of PRP depending on the tissues being treated. More concentrated for joints, less for tendons and ligaments, but some modification for the age of the patient. It would be uncommon to treat the MCL and not the knee. If only the 2 tendons and one ligament it would be 180-240ml blood (donating blood is 500ml)
Only post-procedure, not ongoing for pain
Regenerative procedures are not covered by any insurance other than Vermont Workers Compensation (with pre-approval). Office visits are covered by the majority of plans. We accept assignment from most private and Medicare plans but do not accept Medicaid and out of state workers comp or motor vehicle insurance.
