Amazing trainers of canines for people that need them. They match up dogs to people with all sorts of issues. To watch these dogs is simply mind blowing. The dogs love to help their owners with daily chores such as laundry, picking up items …

I was so impressed with this place just in the application process. The facilities were much bigger and more in-depth than I was expecting.you can tell how well the dogs are taken care of and trained in the process of becoming service dogs. …

Everything I have seen ,heard and learned about CPFL had me going for my wallet. Unfortunately, I then saw a peek at their active breeding program of Goldens and Labs. CPFL also accepts some dogs from shelters. I have the same issues with U.S. Law Enforcement K -9 Units, that spend upwards of 1200 -1500 dollars on Belgians,etc.. Every dog may not be suited for every duty, but every dog has a duty it loves.

I'm just a volunteer helping take care of puppies. You should call the office. Each dog is trained specifically for each individual receiving the dog. A dog doesn't even begin training until they are over a year old.
They have placed many comoanion dogs for autistic children and adults.
I believe you can adopt dogs who do not "pass."
It is a long process. You have to call them meet with them. He would be on a list they match the right dog to the person's needs. Then you go away for 2 or 3 weeks to work with the dog.
CPL trains the puppies though families and they actually go to jails for socializing and training. They match the dogs to peoples needs. They don't use your dogs.
Very interested in getting a CLP Canine for my son wuth emotional problem and PTSD. Also my dad just had a stoke and would benefit from having a CLP dog.
I believe there might be. Contact them directly to discuss his situation. They are very helpful in obtaining service/companion dogs.
