I purchased a service from a company owned by a man who turns out was actually a scammer, and the news channel directed everyone who was scammed by this man to make a report with placer country sheriff. I have called 2 or 3 times and left messages at the assigned detectives phone number with giving more than a week time to respond and I have not heard back. I’m offering free evidence to help the case and they seem to not want it.. who are we supposed to contact to assign more funding for police departments so they could actually hire more people to handle stuff like this? I’m feeling less safe every day.

A couple of years ago they surprised our family with an outpouring of support during one of the most difficult period of our lives. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have towards that department, especially after experiencing some really difficult people in the Dutch Flat area. They restore faith in humanity and show the community is better than those few nasty people you may come across. I will never forget their kindness and generosity.

If you are completely sure that the young man has not only been helped to get out of homessness, yet comes into your home through a window to steal a new weed eater, (for sister's bday?, several new cell phones, (one we purchased for him, with hope that he would stop stealing phones) and I know where he is would the report I make for the 2nd time online pull him off streets or will it be more beneficial for him as a sick human being to walk up on him with you and identify him as the man who has stolen from myself and my family. He is getting beat up, everything taken, including my phonre. I am his Mother's acquaintance. She left him here and a couple of us in the AA program said we would keep an eye. Can you advise?
