My Mom and Dad chose their plot many years ago and Mom passed in 1990. I visit on holidays in her memory and have always found the grounds well kept. The chapel on the hill was added years later and is beautiful. 2 weeks ago my Dad joined my Mom. I love that there are no big stones, just plaques in the ground. It's very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Each area has a name such as Garden of Peace, Memory, Serenity etc. Highland doesn't have a cemetery look to it it really does look like a park.

You can put plants in baskets purchased at the front office. Also if you wish to plant on grounds you would have to go to the front office and ask about what you would like to do. They run it by the superintendent and the president of highland and contact you with results.
