The people here were so great to my papa during his remaining time on earth they would ask us if we need anything they would always talk to him and tell him what they were doing they were the easiest and nice people to talk to they became family in a snap of a finger and I couldn’t thank them enough for everything you guys did to make my papa comfortable before he passed I was so blessed he got to pass in a place that felt like home thank you guys for everything god bless all you guys.

I cannot say enough about McCarthy Care Center. If you are lucky enough to have a loved one placed in this facility you are indeed blessed. The Staff is amazing with its continuous tender, loving care. You could not ask for better.

Rise and Shine

My mother (D. Lewis) passed away 21 yrs ago this month and she had worked for hospice for 15+ yrs and then hospice ended up caring for her during her last weeks. 21yrs later I'm still remembering the kind, caring Co-workers that assisted her. Thank you!!

Discerned Reality

End of life hospice is sad, especially when you can't be there to help or visit as much as you would like to for any myriad of reasons. My mom is at this location and I only found out 2 wks ago that she was ill (which is also when I was told my younger only brother died unexpectedly a few months prior), due to dysfunctional family dynamics. I was told that when my mother asks for me, staff sit with her and tell her they're me. Since I've been able to visit and meet the staff, I've noticed how ALL of the staff DO care for these folks- strangers- with kindness and respect, as if they are family. The rooms are clean, the views from the rooms are lovely. This is the best I could hope for my mom, as I cope with my new griefs (already passed for some in my family), an inability to drive myself to hospice, and the guilt of relying on my mother's brother to bring me from out of state. My mother loves her staff. They take such great care of her. While I hope others have closer family ties, HopeHealth does whatever they can to build a caring everyday experience for folks that are in hospice and those who are visiting. I'm very grateful to them.
