As a person with a disability I find it monotonous that you have to walk around the entire block to go from the bus to the train or vice versa

Train is late....no one to assist, how are you supposed to pick someone up?... do not enter signs.. completely insane. No bathrooms. Confusing. Horrible. This needs to change.
Christopher Fetros
Haven't picked up the train here, but visited here for 1068, which seems to be a permanent fixture outside the depot. Would a good place to photograph mainline trains too, but the trestle less than a mile away is altogether a better spot.

The train station is in the small town of Maricopa, which is south of Phoenix. Likely you go to Los Angeles station, transfer to another train first. No train goes through Phoenix.
Go to www.amtrak.com
Yes you can go from Redding to San Francisco but you'll have to take a bus from Oakland
Yes. Look into the Amtrak bus also. It leaves from the Redding RABA station, across the tracks from the Amtrak train depot. The bus leaves at frequent times throughout the day where the train only departs Redding southbound around 3am or 4am.
No, you just get on the train with your stuff...
Have to buy ticket online or you can pay conductor when you board
The train usually stops near downtown Sac on the way to Southern Cali. But there may be a airport shuttle that trsnsport back & forth from Sac Airport. I hope this was helpful :)
