This camp was my childhood! Every summer, I looked forward to the week that I would get to go on new adventures and make some life-long friends. All of the amazing people I met at Putnam are still in my life today! All of the activities, food, and people there were incredible. I absolutely LOVED biking, boating, arts and crafts, sports and games, swimming, and the little award ceremony they have at the end of the week. The cabins are comfortable and cozy. Not to mention the AMAZING food!!! The meals here are positively delicious and of the utmost quality. I vividly remember the excitment of eating pastries on the last day. All of the counselors and CITs were so respectful and really made me, a very socially awkward and shy young girl, feel at peace around people. Some of the skills I learned at camp helped me become a successful businesswoman and I can't thank the people enough that made this all possible. If you're looking at the reviews because you don't know if you should send your kids to Camp Putnam, I promise you it will be worth the money.
