Bill. It is not something that I would even contemplate doing. If I understand it right, this would mean increasing the flange width by .125 inches or 1/8". You could try and pry the wheels out (1/16" on each side) with a wheel puller but that would lead to complications with the rods and body interference. The steam cylinders would also not be in the right place and cause interference with the rods in that area where there are interference problems without complications.
