7 years ago we got our Terrier “Rocky” here. MT. Pleasant was so caring and helpful with connecting us with the right dog for our family! He’s hypoallergenic and not too big! He’s truly our best friend! Thank you

The best shelter in NJ. The well being of cats and dogs come first to this team. They train their volunteers well and the shelter is a kind loving home for the pets you may adopt.

I could not recommend this shelter enough! The shelter is very welcoming and everyone is so friendly. I had the opportunity to adopt my two kitten siblings from them, Billy & Joel (nka. Loki & Binx). I recommend this shelter to everyone looking to adopt a new furry friend!

You can but you need to schedule it so please call them. They need to make room for your dog
Try people for animals they have a location in hillside nj
Sorry I can't help you 😔
Their website has all the information. http://njshelter.org
They raised the price to 325 but they are neutered and are up to date with shots.
I don't know you would have to go there and ask.
No
Please contact the shelter directly.
Not sure. Probably best to call and ask to confirm
“Tea cups” isn’t a real breed. Those dogs are born from over produced genetic mutations. They have health problems 9/10 I’d suggest just going to the shelter and seeing what they have and seeing who you connect with. You may miss out on a real love connection if you pigeon hole yourself into one breed you think is cute
Where did you get the cat from? If you have documentation showing she is yours, go file a police report for theft. Pets are property (family to us) in the eyes of the law. If they will not assist by retrieving said property start litigation asap. She might try to place her in a different shelter to hurt you. You need to bring a replevin action against her to recover your pet. Contact the NY and Buffalo bar associations for referrals.

Adopt older shelter dogs! Puppies are a lot of work and you're not sure what you're getting.
Yes. I held my Charlie (cat) for a long time. I like lovable. You will be in a large room with the prospective pet. You can take the time you need.
You need to call for availability. It changes a lot.
Yes there is. You should call in to see if there is room and make an appointment for the surrender if they can take dog in. I am volunteer. The staff will know more. Hope this helps.
