Came into T4 at JFK today. In a word, horrendous. Over 2hrs snaking through to the customs officers. He was very pleasant when we got there, but seriously, this situation needs to be looked at. There were OAPS, parents with small children all in this queue of thousands. That's not acceptable. Make it a priority area to improve this experience for your visitors.

Called to inquire about bringing commercial goods as advised by an officail at CBP to contact the airport for further information. Got forwarded to an incredibly rude man. Gave me one piece of information that I already knew from the CBP website and said 'you'll have to pay what you have to pay' (when I tried to get clarification on HTS codes) and what to do or expect at the airport in relations to what the process was or any forms that maybe needed in advance. His response was verbatim 'we are not going to get into that today maam, have a good day' and hung up on me whilst I was still speaking. I have no idea how this is acceptable customer service.

This people are cruel. I waited 3. 5 hours on line. Worst customs border in the United State.

My packages from Germany also take forever. They can take up to one month, according to the "nice" lady I spoke with there.
Call CABP office and confirm whether this is true. Usually, either your sender or receipient have to pay custom duty on certain items. Check with your friend on the items he declared.
No. If you are the legal guardian of the baby, you don't need any authorization.

F1 visa numbers are always different from SEVIS numbers but the F1 visa has to be linked with the SEVIS number. If you get a new F1 visa then make sure it has its own SEVIS number approved by the school you're attending. Hope this helps
Contact The TSA Office. If they can't help you they will connect you to the right person.
Depends on what country you coming from. If your coming from the EU UK china Brazil or Iran you will need a waiver to enter the USA.
Has nothing to do with US Customs. This should be directed toward TSA
It fits, why not?
You don't give many details but maybe it's time to call a lawyer. CBPO L C Jones
I am being charged $68,700 ,which I don't have for a package being held at customs. I've written them but they haven't given me an answer on what that money is for. 😡
Chinese citizens require a Visa to enter the U.S.
Depends on your citizenship. If you're from a Visa waiver country, you can apply for ESTA online ($14 USD.) See if your country of citizenship is listed online. Otherwise, you must have a b1/b2 or c1 Visa to transit thru the u.s.
