Trevor Joyner and the whole staff at Bidwell Title are exceptional! My escrows with Bidwell always go so smooth. Preliminary Title Reports come quick and detailed, and their underwriters are very considerate and are able to help if there ever needs to be a correction. These guys are the experts if you ever need an escrow done, they are great at purchase escrows, dealing with 1031 exchanges, complicated ownerships, and seller carry-back loan financing. My colleague recently closed an escrow with over 40 owners and Bidwell made it happen like it was nothing! Trevor is my go-to call with all my title and escrow questions, and Louis in customer service always seems to work some magic with the public records to find me land comps, subdivision maps, or anything else I can't seem to find elsewhere. Keep up the good work you guys!

To Ashley: This may not not be Bidwell's fault. I am using an online lender and they pushed hard for me to use a mobile notary. I resisted and my estimated closing costs for title immediately dropped. I am sure title companies want to be able to work with on line lenders. Just guessing,, they may get a portion of the fee charged to the borrower--but mobile notaries probably make it easier for the lender who doesn't have to deal with paper. I've used Bidwell before: very professional, very pleasant.

The owner is charging a mobile notary fee of $200.00 to the buyers. I don't know about the sellers. The owner has decided not to open the company up again to the public until every employee has a chance to be fully vaccinated. This is admirable, I really do appreciate that. However, you should know up front that if you work with them and you are a buyer, you will be charged a $200.00 fee at close until their office is back open and they currently have no estimated date of opening. I did complain and was told there was nothing they could do. I do not think the owner should be charging this fee to the buyers and I want people to know about it ahead of time. We were not told about it till the last minute. We sold our previous home through a separate title company last October, during a higher tier of restriction. They had plexiglass partitions and were scheduling private appointments for signings. It felt very safe and precautions were thorough.
