As a Stanly County resident of many years, there was a time I despised going to this hospital for treatment. That all changed on 11/20/20. I was suffering from Sciatica and in severe pain. From the time we pulled up the guard saw I was having difficulty getting out of my SUV and brought a wheelchair to my door and helped me inside. The intake staff immediately checked me in, and a nurse was taking me back in less than 5 minutes. The nurse was very attentive and concerned about my well being. She figured it was Sciatica from my description of symptoms. Within minutes Dr. Murphy came to the room and confirmed it was Sciatica and treated me immediately. Within 24 hours the inflammation was going down with the steroids and Gabapentin prescribed, and the pain was subsiding. Thank you to the entire staff for being there for me during a very painful time.

I heard bad things about them long ago but my 2 recent trips have been a great experience. They gave me better treatment than the VA and let me know how to treat my CHF.

Only 1 visitor per day; however, I’m not sure if they can spend the night though.
You'd need to contact billing to ask them. Go to Atrium's website for the number to the billing dept.
