Nice people working there. Ventilation is excellent, as should be expected in an indoor shooting range. The price is very reasonable. They have a variety of pistols available for rental and their ammo prices are in line with other providers. It definable is the cheapest therapy in town!

I bought my first hand gun this past week and was eager to put some rounds through and get a feel for it. Shooters was my first indoor range, and my first range not run by the military (already a far more pleasant experience). From signing the waiver, watching a safety video and grabbing targets, we were on the range in under 15 min. The day we went, it happened to be the one day of the week they offer military discount--a complete coincidence that worked in our favor. The staff is great, and the facility is well organized and clean. The price of the range was cheap, even before the discount. Targets cost $2 each which wasn't bad. The only bad thing I have to say is that their amo is super expensive. I brought 200 rounds purchased at $40. I didn't want to be done yet, so I purchased an additional 100 rounds at $50, more than double the cost of what I brought. I wanted to go through another 200, but the price was too steep for me. At that point, I was paying for the convenience of being able to shoot more. Not as big of an issue if you come prepared, so still 5 stars for me! I'll definitely be back!!

Shooters need to be at least 6 years old with a parent or guardian
Yes - in any amount that you like.
If you bring your own ammo you have to use your gun own if you rent one from the then you have to use their ammo
Yes, they have everything. Ammo, hearing and eye protection and targets.
6 is the youngest age that can shoot on the range with a parent or guardian
There is an offsite armorer the gun can be sent to if it is beyond a simple fix. There is a sight tool but it has specific but more popular manufactures and models
The average gun sold at Shooters is probably about $600. The typical handguns they sell are around $550. Rifles cost a bit more. Guns are like cars though. You can get a cheap one around $350 but I have seen some well over 2k. Shooters typical doesn't sell the cheapest because the cheap guns usually are not dependable.
Please visit our website where all of our pricing is posted on the main page: https://shootersaugusta.com/
Prices vary based on brand and action type. As little as $299 into thousands of dollars.
Yes, but only shooting the 45LC as we do not allow shotshells of any caliber to be shot at our indoor range. If you want to shoot the .410 shotshell, visit our sister outdoor range SHARPE Shooters.
Firearm prices vary greatly and are dependent upon brand, caliber, and new vs used. Current prices have spiked due to demand and availability. Our inventory selection is very small at this time and changes daily due to high demand. Quoting a price range at this time with the constant inventory changes can't be done with any accuracy.
We are not enforcing any mask mandates.
I suggest you call them
No. AR and AK style rifle-caliber pistols are not allowed at our indoor range. They are permitted to be shot at our sister outdoor range, SHARPE Shooters located at 2901 Gun Club Road, Augusta 30907.
We top out our rifles at 7.62x39 (AK-47). All calibers 30-30, 243, 22-250, etc. and up are not allowed. No shot shells of any kind - to include the Taurus Judge and S&W Govenor. Pistol calibers top out at 454 Casull. The reason for this is that we converted from a dirt berm to a chipped rubber berm where there is a liner over dirt and we do not want to punch holes in the liner. Shot shells wreak havoc on our pulleys on the far wall as the tiny pellets bounce up the rubber berm and into the pulleys - as well as possibly pepper neighboring targets. AR and AK pistols along with Short Barrel rifles are also not allowed due to their extreme noise. If you have one of these guns in a suppressed configuration, those can be shot on our range. We have had many complaints from customers shooting next to these guns as well as some cutting their time on the range short as they were not able to comfortably shoot next to them.
Yes, we have a FFL (Federal Firearms License). We sell new and used firearms as well as serve as a transfer agent for guns purchased online - or from out of state - that require an FFL transfer service. Transfer fees: $25 If you have multiple guns/receivers shipped, the first one is $25 and each additional being picked up at the same time is $10. Example, three guns/receivers picked up at the same time would be $45 ($25 for the first, $10 for the second, and $10 for the third).
Minimum age to use the range is 18 with a long gun. Persons under 21 years of age using a handgun must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years of age. Only one child under 16 years of age per lane is permitted with a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians that do not have control of their children will be asked to leave the premises.
We have a selection of Glock, S&W, Beretta, Canik, Sig Sauer, Ruger, and Taurus. Most are 9mm with a Sig Sauer P238 .380, glock 23 40S&W, Ruger 1911 45acp, Ruger SP101 357mag, Taurus Tracker 357mag, and Taurus 44mag.
Sam - if you are referring to our beginner handgun class, it is $125 per person for a 3 hour 1-on-1 class with an NRA instructor. These classes are on a by appointment basis.
If your question is to carry a loaded weapon in public, you will need a GA Weapons Carry License - or a carry permit from a reciprocal state that GA recognizes. If you are asking what ID you need to use our range, a simple government issued picture ID is all we need.
Fray, Our minimum age is 6. We only allow one child per bench with an adult at a time. If you plan to shoot while having a child with you, we prefer to have a second adult present to watch the child while you focus on shooting. Kids a bit older such as 10 we are not as concerned given that they can behave themselves while you focus on shooting.
Hey the above answered it all but call them they are awesome to talk to and will help you in any way. This place is great we love the indoor range but they have an outdoor too!
Yes, you can bring your own guns along with your own ammo. The only time we require our ammunition is when renting one of our guns. If you bring your guns in "open carry" we like to see slides/bolts locked back and magazines out so that we can visually see that your gun is empty when you enter the store. If you have your gun(s) cased, no issues.
Yes, you can bring your own targets. If they are too small to fit on our target carrier, we'll be happy to give you some tape so that you can put any smaller targets on a used target discarded on the range - or you can buy one of ours, shoot it, and then tape your smaller targets to it.
Yes. You just need to be old enough and watch a safety video. You just can't buy a pistol if you live in another state.
allow calibers up to a 7.62x39 (AK-47) on the range. All long guns that are fired on the range require a bullseye or combo target to be placed at the backstop in order to reduce the risk of stray bullets, shrapnel, and ricochets.
This is a shooting range.
