I wanted to wait at least one week before I wrote this review to let my anger and outrage settle to make sure that I am writing a clear and accurate testimony to the incompetence of the Blair Direct Cremation & Burial Services. The staff was very friendly when I first met them to pay for the services for my sister's cremation. However, the experience ended poorly. They did not complete her cremation within the 15 business days that were agreed upon services. And when they did complete it, I went to go pick up my sister's ashes with my mother at their Red Bluff location. When I arrived with a mother grieving for her only daughter, we were told that they did not have her ashes at the agreed location. So, with my emotionally torn mother, I had to drive another 30 minutes to their Redding location. Due to the ineptitude of the management, Blair took what was already a painful, stressful experience and amplified it to make this situation even worse than it already was. Do not hire Blair Direct Cremation and Burial Services to handle the remains of your loved ones.

I would recommend Blair’s to anyone! Mike was very compassionate and took his time with me and my family during this difficult time. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the process and everything I needed to do. He was able to mail certificates and ashes to Texas in a timely manner. He also allowed us to have a little visitation with some friends to pay their respects. Thank you Blairs for everything!
