I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Bassett and this store. So many things went wrong with my order and the customer service team clearly hates working there because the attitude they have is palpable. I ordered a wall hanging mirror. When I picked it up in store, the woman working said the warehouse staff conducted a quality check in the back. When I got home and removed the mirror from the package, there was a HUGE scratch down the side of the mirror. 2 months later they contacted me to schedule an exchange. They missed the delivery date. They contacted me to schedule a second delivery date. When it arrived, the mirror was missing the hanging hardware. I contacted customer service and I have to wait another 3 weeks for the hardware to deliver. They have quality control issues at multiple points of their production process. They have employees with terrible attitudes. They have zero sense of urgency and no flexibility to take care of customers in a timely manner. I will never purchase from Bassett again.

10x better than La-Z-boy. Expensive, but worth it. Understand what you're buying, do your research, know the materials = making the right decision for you. I've had nothing but TERRIBLE experiences with La-Z-Boy and own 4 pieces, 3 have had serious service issues and quality issues. Mark was patient, extremely polite, and helpful. I can be a bit of a "bull in a china shop", so that's something I appreciate Notes about other reviews: since COVID began, many retails felt the burn and people can be harsh. I feel most of the reviews on here are from people that have had extremely one off issues/experiences. I'm sure they are well founded but I feel most clients of Bassett Furniture aren't posting 5 stars reviews like customers are brainwashed to do at other retailers *looking at you La-Z-boy; its weird how many reviews they've been getting in recent months

We bought Basset Bench*Made live edge Dining table set for about 6k. It was beautiful when we saw in store and bought same color and model, what we got delivered is a disappointment, has full of worm holes especially in the center of table top, chairs have holes, you can see light pass through them, the live edge looks shoddy. I wish I saw the complaints on consumer affairs and BBB before buying, now awaiting a resolution, store rep came home and checked giving hopes only to call back and say it meets their quality checks by 100 % and offered small discount which we denied.
