Fantastic place for that fastener, plant, fertilizer, that "what-u-ma- call it" place! You'll most likely find it. Just ask David, Mark, Dennis or Gaspar and they'll walk you right to it! Fine folks and the place is 120+ years old and still in the same building! You'll love it!
Part of their overall operation is an urban farm in downtown Matthews. They are always closed on Mondays and Tuesdays because these are farm work days. The store is usually open on Wednesdays, though.
you could plant onions or garlic. if you want winter greens and kale or cabbages you need to protect them with a covering: polytunnel, coldframe, etc. consult with Renfrow, they are the experts. :-)

These old experienced guys can probably do anything I have not had any experience with knife sharpening but everything I've done with these people have been great they will not shoot you a line if they cannot do stuff.
