Smaller scale Breakheart, but still pleasant and well shaded.

Some lesser-known trails behind the fields that are great. My favorite neighborhood park.

Questions & Answers

Yes...the road that loops up & around wooded park area with playground & pavilion area in back...you can park off the side of road in tree/parking areas....or if going to the Track & Baseball/Softball Fields.....there is a PARKING area that you access/enter off of Main Street... at/by set of lights that are in front of Hunt's Photo & Video...and I believe you can still access the back parking area off of Sylvan Street also...that is the side street off Main at lights by Track! I hope this was helpful to you!

Cemeteries & Parks by law close at Sun Down. Therefore they are already breaking the law. Most cities & town's have a rule where a sector car (if there not too busy then & there once every 1 - 2 hours check the parks, play grounds, cemetary, schools etcetera which they pass off to the Auxiliary P.D. if they have one & in that area Melrose doesn't so Malden, MA Aux. P.D. would try to cover Pine Banks since it's on the border of Malden & Melrose. That depends on IF they're working that night & who's on duty. Certain Aux. will cover the bodies. of water (which are in the Melrose section) certain cops won't. Remember you're breaking the Law just for being in there also at 10 PM. Even just walking with a friend or partner. Look at it this way were they little kids who could easily drown if left alone? Do you think when they were done fishing they were going to ruin the park & start fires everywhere? If not I wouldn't worry about it. Is fishing in Pine Banks even Legal? Thanks 4 caring!
