We traveled up to see Caravan Palace here (first time at this venue) and were blown away by how cool it is. We ate at the restaurant prior, and our waitress was the highlight of the entire dining experience. I unfortunately have a -20 spice tolerance so I was only really able to enjoy the French fries (they were really good though for what that's worth) and load up on hurricane drinks. The venue has this cursed white dog painting on stage left by the bar that I REALLY wish I would have gotten a picture of. The entire place is filled with rad art and history. We enjoyed the show and the venue as a whole! Hope to be back!

A personal fave music venue of mine! the decor is very interesting and the sound is incredible. A very intimate music venue. The security guards are also very helpful and patient with you even in the sold out shows (especially the women identifying guards). People with disabilities: this is a standing room only space, though seats are on the side of the main floor and top floor.

What a great show experience! Huge miller lites for $13 is a steal. Great sound, and very nice staff. The decor is amazing too!

The venue is artsy and beautiful with awesome acoustics. I enjoyed it very much. Just a heads up, vaping devices aren't allowed and if your purse is bigger than your hand or not see-through/clear you'll have to pay a $4 coat check fee(only cash) and leave it at the entrance. Luckily I had cash and it wasn't a big deal.

No they usually give over 21 an arm band or that's what they did when we went. Might depend on show also. My 17 year old was with me and there was kids WAY younger than him there
If you already have your ticket, head to the HoB entrance on the NW side. There you will go through bag check/security and ID/ticket check. From there you'll be directed inside. Usually you can just follow the crowd into the concert area. However, they have signs showing you where to go. They offer coat check for a fee (cash only).
There is no dress code in the dining room or concert hall
We only used our phones couldn't say sorru
You always save money by buying tickets at the venues box office directly. Sites like Ticketmaster kill you on fees and handling charges.
As long as it has a picture on it you should be fine.
I don't know... I'm back in Colorado now getting ready for Rodeo... enjoy though
Yes... you can use a walker and they are very very accommodating!!
Yes
No, the resturant is not connected to the concert hall.... but after dinner ,since you want to chill , get a seat at the bar , in the concert area .
There is live music every night at the House of Blues.
The highest balcony does not have tables, but does have ottomans. The view is great. Yes, you are up high, yes you have to go down a level to buy drinks or go to restrooms, but for a "cheap seat" I don't mind it a bit.
When you go up the stairs they're in the back by the bathroom by the bathroom. I would go before the show because it's very small
Depends on the show. It's also a restaurant and bar.
I don't remember seeing any signs that prohibited posters or signs, but I also didn't see anyone carrying them. They appear to be allowed but personal preference if you want to hold a poster or not.
Yes, I didn't have reservations on 7-24-21 but I was able to order food & drinks at the bar & had excellent sight line of the band
I may be wrong about the minimum. Let me look into it
No it is not wheelchair accessible
The duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes of well worth your time and money!
Yes they will take credit cards for drinks as far as parking I believe it's 20 to $30 they valet park it for you you come out your car is there.
I'm pretty sure you can. They have local shows almost every night
Unfortunately I'm sorry I don't know that. You will have to call. Enjoy it's a wonderful time and happy new year to you and yours.
Yes and to be fair it's real good.
Your ticket should say all ages or any restriction. The info on their website should tell you as well.
1300 in main auditorium. The bar area has a few tables and plenty of bar side seating for the daily jazz shows in evening.
If I looked it up correctly, according to Ticketmaster- $45 plus taxes.
A lot of people tend to arrive around 3-4 hours before GA doors open, and water bottles, I believe are not let in but can be purchased there
The concert hall is a floor above. But there is a stage where they have smaller blues shows in the dining area.
Yes you may, they have bar seating and table. You may reserve the table before hand, as usual waiting is 60mins
The do a pat down so would be hard to sneek it. Check the band about their recording/photo policy as well as the venue.
the majority of the theatre area is an open space. Having said that, some shows are especially crowded
I would recommend a business casual just because the place is really elegant. But there were people wearing jeans and sneakers so I dont think there is one.
Yes all ages attended the Sunday brunch show! !
I am sorry, Patrick Irwin, unfortunately, I don't have the schedule past March 30. There should be live bands most nights.
The tall boys (25 ounces cans) are $12.
The lower level is a bar/restaurant, I dont think reservation are necessary but you might want to check on weekends, it gets pretty busy
Hour b4, easy
Yes
Depends on who you are going to see. Always check before purchasing tickets
Don't see why not if you mention it up front. Never been with more than two.
In my opinion all ages are allowed to enter!
12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. It appears this shownis all ages but I would check with the ticket office
Not sure, but want to say a normal pickup or SUV would fit with no problem.
When I last went there, the coat check wasn't in use since they put the merchandise in its place.
Yeah i think i will do that, thanks for the answer and time.
I dont no
Standard valet pricing. Depends on events going on.
Free
There sre some limited spots underground but must be arranged in advance
Yes. Any time you hear standing room like on the subway, it's standing only.
I would suggest an uber from the train station. Westin hotel is across the street. But several more within a block or two.
Not if the concert is designated "17+", "18+", or "21+". If the concert does not specify any of those age restrictions, then anyone can attend (with or without an adult).
Sorry, I don't that one. Check online.😊
Yes
Balcony
Yes, you can just eat & drink
As long as they haven't been scanned/used they are the same as regular tickets.
I would call them and ask. Not sure what restrictions they have for that show.
Tell them 333 N Dearborn or 300 N State. 333 N Dearborn is the address of the Hotel Chicago, in between Smith & Wollensky and the Museum of Broadcast Communications. You want them to drop you off at the hotel which, despite having a Dearborn address, is accessible ONLY from the State Street driveway.
You would have to check with their box office or Ticketnation
State ID is needed- or a passport.
No one said why. We got there and it was already cancelled
Tom Jones at 6:30 pm
Ga is standing room only (minus the bar tables) unless you do the vip balcony seats.
The ones you're seeing are resale tickets. You need to unselect verified resale ticket from the Ticketmaster website to not see those. Though in the case of this show it's sold out so resale is all you can get.
You'll have to wait outside until the doors open but you could get there super early if you want. Lol
2 hours
It depends on the show you're going for you have to check with the venue before you go. Some show say no children allowed after certain hours some of them are for all ages a call before you go if you're bringing kids and I'll let you know
No dress code
The entire festivity ends after about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Depends on the show. Some are all ages, but others can be for adults. In that case, they most likely ID you.
Typically balcony tickets cost more so access there is restricted, however, you can go to the main floor if you hold tix for the balcony.
530p
Not likely with just a general admission ticket. Try adding the Foundation Room package.
Doors probably open at 5:30 and show start at 7
Use spot hero app for reserved cheap parking
It depends on the performer or, the box office depending on the concert. Call the box office for standard VIP seating. Hope that helps!
Stage is middle of house great views. Enough room for choirs.
There is Valet at HOB. It's $40 or there is a parking garage around either corner.
Yes
They have a self pay lot right there and there is one a block away. There are also meters along the streets that often have spots. I have never seen free parking.
1am
Yes
Yes. I make special trips to do it.
Embassy suites , magnificent Mile
Usually 17+ depends on who is playing... usually it will say when you look for tix
Maybe not try there website or better yet go to Do312 website They always have shows for the House of blues that are completely free
There were kids of all ages there on last Sunday for the Gospel Brunch
Only if it says 17+@HOB??
You can not smoke inside and Chicago includes e-cigarette(vaping) in its no smoking ordinance. Therefore no vaping allowed. Also, HoB does not have in and out privileges so you will not be able to smoke at all in any way if you go to a show there. The one exception is if you do VIP and dinner in the Fondation room. If you get access to the Fondation room through various means you will be able to leave and come back.
Yes
As far as I know you can't
It's very minimal. We bought the basic tickets but since we couldn't find seating we ended up purchasing VIP tickets. They were pricey but we had members of our party who needed to sit.
