We booked our wedding here before we were even engaged. That's how sure we were that this is where we wanted to get married. I'm so glad we got the date we wanted too bc if we had waited, we probably would've had to get married after the new year. We also booked lodging: the night before our wedding for me & my bridal party, the night of our wedding just for me & my groom. When you're planning a wedding with a royal theme, there's really no better place in the area. People don't believe you when you tell them it used to be a single-family home. It's extravagant & massive & already perfectly decorated, so all we needed were the florals & a few signs...ta-da! Wedding!

This venue is unparalleled in so many ways. It's in such an easily-accessible location while still giving you a feeling of extreme seclusion (No one wants a 30+ minute bus ride from the hotel to the venue, and this was maybe 10 minutes from our hotels). The venue itself is stunning, the service is second to none, and the food is out of this world. I can wholeheartedly say the reason our wedding was such a successful, fun evening was because of those at Dover Hall and Dover Hall itself. Wouldn't it be great to have a cocktail hour unlike any of the ones you've already been to? Their first floor is so exciting and interesting to explore, all of my guests were having such a fun time walking around while catching up with one another. I also had MANY guests tell me after the fact that they've never experienced service at a wedding like at Dover Hall. From the room flip (we had both our ceremony and our reception in the Great Hall), to the extremely timely serving of the courses, to smoothly transitioning everyone throughout the evening's events, I couldn't imagine a better flow for the night. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone else again, but we had to postpone our large event from 2020 to 2021. I think the time when we had to postpone was really when the team at Dover Hall set themselves apart from their competition. I've never imagined a vendor checking in on me just to see how I was doing - it was a tough decision to make, but I truly will be forever grateful to Miranda and her team for just giving me a friend to lean on. If you're thinking about having your wedding at Dover Hall, do it. This venue, team, and experience is one that you won't find at any other place. You, your bridal party, your family, and your guests are all treated with such high-quality service, it almost feels like it's been individually tailored to each guest. I'm not sad to be done with wedding planning, but I am sad I don't know when I'll see Dover Hall and Miranda again.
