By far one of the worse hospitals I have ever went to. My brother went in due to an emergency. I asked for a nurse to update me at least 6 times and NO ONE came out to update me. I was sitting in the lobby for 7 hours! I saw the nurse switch shifts and still got no update. The young man at the front stated that the nurse had said they were busy but someone will come out to speak to us. I completely understand Nurses are busy and all but family has the right to know what is going on with their family member! Thank goodness I don’t live by this hospital. I will never be returning here.

I came in through the ambulance bay crying with severe pain in my abdomen. I laid on the floor of the waiting room and was ignored for 3.5 hours. I asked for help getting to the bathroom, ended up hobbling there myself since no one would help me. I repeatedly begged the two women behind the service desk to help me. They were too busy figuring out who’s chick fil a order just came through the door. They had given me an IV port but no fluids. I asked for a Tylenol or something. They refused. I asked for some water. They would not allow me to drink water. Several times I walked outside and collapsed on the sidewalk and the last time I did that the service desk lady followed me out and told me not to leave because she could get me a room in 15-20 minutes. I told her I didn’t want to come back in because they kept saying I’d get a room soon but I never did. I thought I was dying and wanted to go to St Mary’s hospital instead but they insisted on me staying. I came back in and waited another grueling 30 mins for a room. Which I did not get. I walked out and went to st Mary’s where I was triaged and into a room in less than an hour. AND this hospital sent the cops to my house because I left with my IV port still in. Which st Mary’s removed for me immediately. If I have another medical emergency I will drive straight PAST this garbage hospital to go to st Mary’s.

By far worst emergency room experience I was there with eye infection with abnormal pain and swollen and I had to wait 6 hours and by 6.30 of me waiting I still was not seen or even offered pain meds. Ridiculous!

That me preface by saying the only reason there is one star is because it is required to get this review out My 74 yr old father came to this poor excuse for an emergency room due to my telling the ambulance drivers he was weak due to probable dehydration, he was unable to life himself of of his own bed. So did they put an I.V in this man? No they did not, did they offer him a sip of water or food during the 9 hours he was actually in the er (not the waiting room) again, no one bothered. Sometimes it’s necessary not to take anything by mouth in case you may need an operation but that was not even on the radar of what was going to happen. Every high priced test WAS done to him still no iv. To top everything off because of covid and my not being able to be with him (they did not look at any of what i was told was going to be put in his records, my cell phone number) this people DISCHARGED him without contacting a single relative! Wait! The ambulance would have provided all of this, more incompetence!!! I would not take my dog to this place if it had been run over i would drive the extra time it would take to go else where!! Please dont take your relatives here, especially during covid when they are defenseless
