Great time, great staff. Take a tour! Leaned a lot, we will be back for a class, and the Sunflowers when they come in!

A wonderful place to visit. They have great events at regular intervals with Sales, vendors and music. They hold an Easter Egg hunt yearly, offer free cut your own sunflowers in the fall and offer classes and tours. A family run business that cares about its community.

They make and sell THE MOST BEAUTIFUL things. Gorgeous store, friendly staff... I absolutely LOVE this place!

Amazing spot, it's a quiet piece of heaven in the middle of no where. Family owned and maintained. Great seasonal festivities

We have yet to have any frost so I'd say all is good!
No, you do not need to paint with Kilz. You can paint, stain or dye or gourd once the skin and mold on the gourd has been cleaned off. Mold normally happens only when the gourd is not completely dried before you craft it or if you store in a damp location.
The difference is the size of the entrance hole in the birdhouses. The Cabin has an 1 1/8" hole and the bunglow has a 1 1/2" hole. The holes will attract different birds to your house.
You may pick as long as we have sunflowers
We ask that you do not bring dogs to the farm when we have our events but they are welcome any other time.
They are smaller this year. We went on Saturday and still had fun getting some sunflowers but it took a while to get enough for two bouquets
It's Meadowbrooke gourds with an 'e' on the end . I've ordered online with no problem, ordered by phone and in person at the store on 125 Potato road, Carlisle, PA. Terrific gourd lanterns. I have some for each season all year round. High quality and UNIQUE. I've collected them for a long time. First I'd try deleting all computer cookies, then close browser, then reboot computer. Then turn on again. (Full reboot, not just a quick restart). Then go back to https://mbgourds.com/ And try again.
They usually put an announcement on their Facebook page as to when you can pick them.
This is a wonderful place to visit. They have wonderful products, made by excellent craftsmen. Tours on Tuesday. Seasonal make your own weekends. They also have classes throughout the year. They have an excellent website that gives you lots of info. They always keep you posted on things coming up. Love the family and helpful employees.
The sunflowers will be across the road from the retail store. Our address is 125 Potato Road in Carlisle, PA.
I think that is in the fall. Check out the website and it will give you all the activities for the day. I love this place, very pleasant people, who make you feel very welcome.
If you go right after they post it on Facebook or shortly after they are at the peak of harvesting after that birds start to get at them for the seeds.
Agreed. Call Meadow Gourds directly.
Yes, a variety of electric candles are available.
Yes, you can bring your furry friend as long as he is on a leash. Saturdays are normally busy in the fields, just do you know in case he is people shy.
You can cut as many as you like
It almost seems like a cork material.
They only do tours on Tuesday's to general public.
Pretty sure it opens at 3-4. Yes it's still on, look for the big tent, can't miss it. Lol
