Will never take my pets here again. Made an appointment a week in advance for 7AM confirmed via phone. Get a call the night before my appointment saying they changed it to 9:30 AM. Call to say I work at 8 AM and that doesn’t work for me which is why I specifically made it for 7 AM. Tells me she can’t help me and I would need to drop him off and then somehow find a way to pick him up during their business hours which is the same hours I work so that is not possible. Then tells me to just reschedule my appointment for a later date after I’ve already scheduled a week ahead for an immediate concern that I have with my dog. Ask if they can make an exception as this mistake is 100% on them and she says no. Will never trust my dog in their care ever again. Unorganized and poor communication. Now I’m scrambling to find another vet who can see him for what could be a tumor.

I have had an AWFUL experience with this location. My dog has been getting infections on and off for the 9 years he has been alive. Banfield has always gave us the same medication for treatment. I brought him in a month ago to get medication because the ear infection was back and they gave us the same drops. During his follow up apt I let them know that one ears infection did NOT go away. (The gunk was CLEARLY still there) They told me it was cleared up and send us home. Not even a week later it got worse. I called them and asked for refill the prescription they said they do not to do that. I asked for the vet to call me when they are available and the man I was talking to was Incredibly rude and told me he spoke to the vet on my “behalf”. Not to mention they always PUSH for the drop off apt which I have done in the passed but the last 2 times and BOTH times my dog was left in the crate and clearly was not checked up on because he chewed through his harness the first time and his leash the second time. My dog was also diagnosed with diabetes and the vet showed me where to give him insulin. After I took him to his regular vet she was SHOCKED, and said that is not where the injection should go. Do yourself a favor and go to any other location! We had a GREAT experience with the Framingham location.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 9, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
