It is a nice tapas place. The food is great. Everything tastes delicious. They have special Sangria that they change weekly I believe. The last time I was there I tried their special Sangria and it was tasty. My boyfriend and I ordered: Patatas Bravas, Coliflor Picante, Ravioles de Mariscos, and Chuletillas. For the dessert we had Churros. We were super full. The server was nice and friendly. During the weekend you better make a reservation because they might be packed.

I have been a patron of Solea for over fifteen years. It has been one of my favorite places for dinner with family and friends on special occasions, and Solea was one of the restaurants I missed the most during the pandemic. This weekend my wife and I went there looking forward to a special dinner, and I was startled to find a staple in the forkful of salad I had just started chewing on; I am fortunate I spit it out instead of swallowing it, which could have ended badly. This event shook me; however, I explained calmly to the server what happened and showed them the staple. They took it out of my hand, apologized curtly, and said they would report it to the manager. Time passed, and the next time our server came by our table, I asked what the manager's response was. They said the manager was apologetic and explained that they do not usually make table visits and asked if I wanted them to come by our table. I said that was up to them. Eventually, the manager came by and explained in a matter-of-fact tone food comes packaged in containers that include staples, and they had already taken the salad off the check. This response was a missed opportunity to express empathy and acknowledge the potential seriousness of the situation. As a result, I don't think I'll be eating at Solera again, and the next time friends suggest meeting there, I will propose an alternative.

I was really excited to have dinner with my family at this place since there were so many great reviews and it was listed as a "Spanish" restaurant, thinking they'd have true Spanish cooking. The staff was friendly overall but unfortunately, the food was incredibly underwhelming and as were the drinks. After the tapas we ordered that were okay at best, we thought the paella would be a no-brainer as far as satisfaction. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like there were any spices of any kind in the rice and the seafood was completely plain (nothing on it). I would have voiced these thoughts while we were there instead, but our server never asked us how we were doing. Especially with how much we paid, we were really bummed!

We booked Solea for our rehearsal dinner of 50 people. The quoted us a far more reasonable price for the size of party for food + alcohol for most other restaurants on Moody st. We worked directly with Hope, who was lovely - she was …
