This place is a not-so hidden gem. Best experience so far on our vacation. Admission is free, so we were more than happy to leave a donation. It was the least we could do. What a beautiful place. Enjoyed it very much.

Definitely worth visiting. Amazing complete history of the island collected in one place. Our volunteer was extremely knowledgeable of the history and was fun to listen to.

Fun little museum that gives a nice history of Anna Maria Island. Fun activities for children and adults alike.

Yes. There is the old Jail and peeking in the windows at Belle Haven and the grounds around! Have fun!

The worst damage was to the City Pier. Too much damage to repair. So it will be completely torn down and replaced with an exact replica. But that won't happen for at least 6 months to a year. Most of the rest of the island just sustained trees and limbs down.
