The hotel was under construction for water pipes breaking, the pool nor the fitness center was functional. I didn't get an email till the day of and by that time it was too late to book another place. Wasn't offered a discount. There was barely any food for the "free" breakfast. The staff was friendly

Great place newer property. Unfortunately its beginning to show its signs of age. I noticed extremely sore down to nothing spots on the carpet by the buffet bar. Rooms cozy pool nice

When we started our trip back to Indianapolis from Quantico Va we wanted to stop about half way and spend the night. We looked at the map and found that Wheeling WV was about half way. Everything seemed to be taken so we picked the next town close by which was Fairfield Inn and Suites at ST Clairsville, OH. We were a little reluctant since our tour book said one diamond. Since we were staying only one night we decided to stay. Wow! Were we surprised. The town is really cozy and the hotel is nestled in a family friendly area and very clean. Within 100 feet of the hotel was a Cracker Barrel restaurant. When you walked in the hotel the first thing you noticed was a beautiful front porch where you could sit and spend time with friends and look at the scenery. Everything in the hotel was top notch. The staff was very friendly and went out of there way to please. The TV was excellent and the guide on the TV was outstanding. Cannot say enough good things about this town and this hotel. Do not be fooled by the one diamond rating in the tour book.

Nice, clean hotel, not fancy but has everything you need. Staff are welcoming and the breakfast is varied and hot. A good price. I felt safe and the room was perfect for a quick stay. Not too far from Wheeling and convenient from the interstate.
