PMSI has done a decent job with managing the major issues brought to them upon taking over the Condo Association I own a unit for, but what is good business if you have to compromise self respect or respect in a very general aspect?.. I’ve had one encounter (a call) with PMSI where I was so disrespected by Allison that I’ve been inspired to truly educate myself on my rights (refusing to feel helpless & like a victim). The passive/aggressive approach from Allison and her Manager Crystal, is a one size fits all. And I’ve done my best to justify being accused of making a threat (which I would never do) which was Allisons justification for hanging up on me( the disrespect). Since then, I’ve made two polite requests for copies of the call but have not received any yet. For a property owner, it’s important to consider how you want the people on your property treated by who’s managing it. This is not a business I would recommend to anyone but it could be the people I encountered and not the business as a whole. But they say, one bad seed can ruin a bunch! For a property company, I pray this review makes it to someone high enough up to truly evaluate your employees and the way they are currently giving customer service. The people you serve (renting or owners) are real people on the other end of the call/email. We have real lives, questions & concerns. It is the property managers job to help, assist and educate. None of which Ive experienced. These two women have shown a lack kindness and professionalism. This is just my personal experience.

PMSI is the best. They are on top of everything and work with you to resolve any homeowner issue.

My experience was through my interview for a position with their company. First things first, if you are looking for Benefits, like dental, vision, general health to look after yourself - they do not offer that. Second thing, they have quite the business staff if you're really wanting to work there. Sitting with their two higher up managers one of them has told me that they nag, and do not deal with complaints from other regular staff well. The one manager does not like it when you come to her with a problem, as per her words that 'she has dealt with every single type of issue you will probably come to her with'. Since she has a - again per her words 'short fuse' and will complain alot, she has said in her words that her co workers have also learned to complain and nag as well. Third thing, the same manager also has an excuse that since she owns the company and is much more busy than all her Co workers she does not pick up the vast amounts of calls that come in from clients. Fourth thing, when arranging my interview, they had little to no description on their job post on Indeed. They called and did not send me an official invite to the address of said interview, and what time, like all my other businesses that I had applied to and interviewed at. Very disorganized, unprofessional, and lazy. Fifth thing, they are hiring more people because most of their workers are going on maternal leave. So if you want a busy workplace and a hard time hiring new people you're gonna get swamped, so just a heads up to people wanting to get hired there soon. Conclusion: No benefits, very negative place to work alongside co workers, short fuse and angry manager. If you want a positive work place and benefits, do not choose PMSI.

You should inquire with your Board of Directors first as they are the ones voted by the homeowners to initiate these kinds of contracts. Refer to your Association's Declaration for specifics.
