When welfare fraud is committed agents a disabled adult under 60 by a fake conservatorship using false address for years on end they don't call back or investigate, and mark cases as inactive causing more harm then good to the victims and those around them

With the Alaska economy in the ditch, many people need a hand up. Best piece of advice is for you to get here EARLY !!! Well before they're open. I had business here a couple of days ago and got in line at 7:15am, 45 minutes early. There were already about 30 people in line. In addition, make sure you already have any pertinent paperwork filled out, and don't forget your ID. On the positive side, I was called in about 20 minutes, and the person doing the interview was very competent and professional.

Definitely one of the top 50 State Departments of Health in the nation. Be sure to stop in the basement for a vending machine soda and to check out the server room.
