Had fun, caught some fish, tons of people jumping off the bridge, and bring your own tp. There was none in either bathroom.

Had a blast at the pond, loved the fishing! It's a great place in the morning for a walk, enjoying nature of the park and pond. I was however disturbed by the amount of trash, the park does a great job of putting garbage cans out. Pick up your trash/old fishing line!

Of all the local places people go to when renting my kayaks and paddle boards Salem pond is preferred recommend. Close, easy access, shade trees and park, lots of room on the water, and a pretty shoreline.

I love this pond. In the day you can relax and enjoy a picnic, family reunion some paddle boarding or some fishing. At night, it's a magical peaceful place.

The lights/trees were still in the water yesterday but idk if they are turning them on still
Technically there is a sign at the park saying no dogs allowed, but people have their dogs all the time there with no issues. I'm not sure that they're allowed in the pond though, I've only ever seen them along the edges
I usually just get in and pee in the water watch out for sharks and Gators though
Two fish per licensed fisherman and one fish per child fishing with the licensed fisherman.
Catfish, with worms. Fish the shores with plastics for the bass.
Usually a month or two into spring, first part of May.
If you like to catch catfish go to the upper part near the canyon, if you like trout go to the lower part
