Sable Park Clinic: Dr. Elizabeth Golden and Dr. Barbara Nedervelt always provide exemplary patient care. Both physicians give ample time to explain issues without the appointment feeling rushed. I've had issues at this location for years now. Everything from ignoring legitimate health issues that I've brought up to pulling up the wrong medical records at appointments and thinking that I'm a 50 year old pregnant woman when I'm 25 and very much not pregnant. Like what provider doesn't check to see if they have the right records pulled up until like 5 minutes in when they realize it couldn't possibly be me and now they're spewing this woman's protected information. I've brought in medical records that they then shredded because the different departments don't talk to each other at all to check if something is needed before just getting rid of the problem. To top it all off I went for a covid test that I had an appointment booked for 3 weeks in advance for my PCS. Their "system" deleted the appointment so I got sent back and forth between family health and public health and they suddenly found I needed a whole bunch of vaccines/blood testing before I left even though I specifically asked my PCM if I needed any vaccines or anything before I left. They told my active duty husband not to worry about a massive lump on his back cause they thought it was a cyst but he found out when he moved to a different base that it was CANCER. I always thought they just treated spouses terribly but they just don't care about anyone. The people that drew my blood and administered my vaccines/covid test are the real heroes in this place. They're the only ones that actually care about making sure you're comfortable and that you don't pass out on your way out.

My family and I have been here for 5 years and have never had an issue with the clinic. We were always seen same day for urgent care and always got calls within 24hrs for messages left. The staff is extreme friendly and so are our Dr's!

Absolutely love MacDill and their medical group. They are so clean inside and outside the building. The people that work there are a lot more positive, happier and nicer to ask for help and directions. I’ve been to 3 military clinics, so far, and this is truly the best one I’ve been to. I loved the doctors for both myself and my daughters. The prescription drop-off/pick-up is quite small compared to others, but that’s a small flaw compared to all the great things they have there. I know a lot of people aren’t fond of military base clinics or doctors, but I guess I’m one of the small few who actually enjoy them and prefer to use them over civilian doctors.
