This great little store puts customers first. They may not have fifty brands of every item, but they know every item in the store and will take the time to teach you about what you are buying so you know how to use it properly. I recently had a knee injury and arrived using a broken walker. A fellow customer carried it into the store for me, I asked for help finding the right screws needed to fix the handles, and they not only found what I needed but also put them in place for me because I didn't have the right thing-a-ma-bob to install them myself. I can't imagine a big boxstore going this far above and beyond. Also, this is far from the first time they have gone far out of their way to help me find the right item or figure out my next step in a project. Once, I was going to buy a very expensive smoke detector to replace mine bc I couldn't get the batteries out. The owner instead helped get the dead battery out, and I left with a replacement battery. If I need something they don't carry, they suggest who might carry it. The Hardware Exchange has earned my loyalty. These people demonstrate pure integrity every time I walk in! Proud to support this local business.
