If I could give this hotel negative reviews, I would. If you read ANY reviews - READ THIS ONE. When we first came into our room, there were smudgy handprints on our headboard, the bed was unmade, and there was water (maybe?) in the floor. Along with this, the lock latch was broken on our door. The bathroom door lock was on the outside of the door, and our window would not lock, and had a broken screen. We were on the first floor. My husband had to wedge the ironing rack in between the windows so no one could slide our window open from outside. Not sure if our room was the room used for a quick fun time for an employee there and someone from the outside, but it was evident someone had been there before us and the room was not cleaned. The woman working at the desk was not very nice when I inquired about staying in a different room. Apparently, they were all booked up. However, I showed her the pictures and she did offer to get me clean sheets (after she told me that's how they make the bed?)... So it's clear to me that she could tell the bed wasn't in proper shape as far as looks nor cleanliness. We did not want to stay there, but we have a child and it was way past bedtime so we had to make due. We took him down to the pool and it was extremely dirty and freezing cold. The hot tub was also broken/drained and clearly had been for months because the caution tape had fallen down into it. I have never had such a horrible experience and will never be back.

I had a great experience here especially with the staff! I’ve encountered so many rude staff members at hotels it makes me wonder how they are in customer service but I was so pleasantly surprised by the kindness and professionalism shown to me here- especially Dawn at the desk and the manager. The pool is really nice there too and the $30 pet fee is lower than the other hotels I looked into. The breakfast bags and coffee in the morning were great as well. All around 5 stars!

I paid for another night online. The manager didn't put it in the system I guess, even though we have already talked about it. A couple times. At about 3 pm, we were napping. He opened our door and it scared me. Told me I needed to meet him at the desk. He told me I didn't pay for the room and he tried to get me to pay again. I showed him the reciept and he finally agreed to it that I've already paid. He accused me of not having enough money and saying that he did me a favor by letting me stay in the same room as before. All in front of another customer. It was definitely paid for. Finally he stopped. He came to our room another time knocking aggressively telling me I need to wait about 10 minutes before coming back inside after smoking a cigarette because the smell would carry in. He never tried to call the room phone. I have honestly felt pretty harassed by him sense we've stayed here and if there was a way to report him I would. Well be taking our business somewhere else

At least the rooms and hallways are clean. Be careful of the cracked and missing concrete sidewalk, especially at the side entrances. Rooms have either missing smoke detectors or are hanging down. Between the squeaky AC and the rattling refrigerator, you need to take out your hearing aids or put in ear plugs. I could hear every step of anybody upstairs in the hallway or the room above me. "Breakfast" was a bag consisting of a bottle of water, a carton of apple juice, and a granola bar. Not Baymont quality.
