My first time to Peanuts was a great experience. I was looking for cedar to make some projects to sell. I could only fit 8's in my car. The man took directly to pile of unplaned cedar. I picked out a couple of 2 x 4, and a couple of planks 6" and 8" wide. They had great red coloring when I planed them down. The price was great. It was an hour drive but we'll worth it and the ride itself was beautiful country. The are located way way way back on this tiny trail in the woods. It was an adventure. I'll be back there in two weeks.0

I have purchased all my cypress lumber from peanut for more than 30years. He is true and the best person you would ever meet. When you ask for help with design and wood use he always has a solution and he's right. My wife wanted a large rock and he said follow me. Always friendly and orders are fully complete. Peanuts wife is very jovial and very helpful when placing order.

For a one man show Peanut surely gets it done. Awesome service and price. Try to imagine a few football fields of Cypress timber, pecky Cypress, Deadhead Cypress. Some cedar. No pine. For lumber enthusiasts prepare to spend an hour or two there. It’s nice to walk through and look at it all.

Peanuts is amazing not only is it a family-owned-and-operated sawmill but they have some amazing wood. It is down a dirt road but I had no problem taking my 5 ton 9 foot tall van down the road with no problem. It is Rule but it's definitely not creepy like the other guy says.
