Simply the best in my experience. The young woman I dealt with instantly understood exactly what I wanted, showed me several suitable options, let me give them a road test at my leisure, we discussed some new technical features I wasn't up on with another staff member joining in and in the end I went home with exactly what I wanted after a pleasant and honestly pretty fun experience and look forward to years of happy riding. If you want a competent, friendly, down to earth staff with zero of the attitude you can get other places, and trust me, I've encountered it, go here first.

Hands down my favorite bike shop. Great service, great selection of new and used bikes, best prices on mtb demos. Update 4-9-22 Still the best. Tuneups are very popular here and they were about a 5 week wait to get your bike in (fast turn around one you are there) so schedule ahead of time if you can! Still they were able to do a quick repair for me this morning and super reasonable as always.

Shirk's was amazing. I arrived from another bike shop that had given me a dire prognosis for my carbon Trek Slash (saying I need a new rear triangle or at least seat stays = $$$). The mechanics at Shirk's spent 15 mins and determined I just needed a different, longer caliper bolt. Not sure who used the short on in the first place but Shirk's saved me thousands w/a properly diagnosis & a bolt! I'm now a huge fan and they are my new local bike shop! BTW, the shop feels a bit "out in the middle of the country". Trust your GPS, it will take you to the best bike shop around these parts.

This is a fabulous bike shop! I have practically no (successful) experience riding a bike, yet the desire / insanity to peddle one persisted until I ended up at Shirks Bicycle Shop with the simple aim to find a 2-wheeled conveyance that won’t tie me up in knots and land me in triage. Good start: nobody snickered when I confessed to not getting on a bike in over 25 years. Even better: the staff asked questions, explained options and pulled out suitable candidates for this well-aged, would-be cyclist. Among all the racks of bikes, yes, there was one perfect for me. Before leaving the shop, they made numerous adjustments so that it felt even more comfortable and safe. After two days of practice in a parking lot, I could ride that bike ... not well, mind you ... but from a distance it looked pretty convincing.
