HAPPY POST BABY MAMA!! What an amazing experience!! I started going postpartum . I had a cesarean and was very intimidated about getting back into exercise once I was cleared to do so. This was gentle however still challenging I got an amazing workout and left feeling so relaxed and powerful. I took 3 classes and saw results in loosing the water I was holding onto after baby that puffy look started to disappear. The environment is so welcoming and empowering. I though immediately my husband has to come with me one time. It’s not your usual Yoga you definitely feel the burn but it’s so worth it. Don’t walk RUN to book a class!?

At the age of 53 - fat, unhealthy, and never having done a group exercise class in MY LIFE, I found my way to FPY through a friend. It was the single best decision I have made about my health, ever! During the pandemic, I decided NO MORE BEING UNHEALTHY. The online membership allowed me the freedom to do yoga at home, when and where I wanted. I had a good foundation through the in-studio classes- and being able to do it at home meant I could do yoga 4 - 5 days a week, instead of 1 or 2. (I'm a late night person). Now at nearly 55, I am in the best shape of my life, able to move my body in ways I never thought possible again, and about 40 pounds lighter. (Makes my husband happy too!) I now combine walking 2 - 3 times a week, weight training 2 - 3 times a week, and yoga 2 - 3 times a week. Having that personal time to focus, concentrate and think about ME and my fitness goals is invaluable. We are all stressed out all the time, and you need this in your life! Can't thank Denice enough!

I'd give it 10 stars if I could! This is not traditional yoga! 1) I pretty much hate to exercise, but I love FPY! 2) I hate to sweat, but I love leaving class dripping wet 3) I am not a calm/in my head type of person, there is always a lot going on in there but @FPY that disappears and I get ME TIME which is so hard to do. I didn't expect to like 'yoga', but I LOVE FPY. I get a great workout and want more which even shocks me to say. I feel & sleep great since starting yoga, and each class is a challenge & I'm constantly learning. Usually at a gym I go pretty steady for a month or two and then lose interest even in the classes. But at FPY I've been going regularly starting Jan 2021 and only took a break when the COVID pandemic shut things down or when we had big events, but since Jan 2021 I've been going every week except vacations. There are lots of options for payments (I started with a 10 pack) and they are all very reasonable. The studio is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are amazing. You do your own thing, at your own level and no one judges you. If you haven't already, I highly suggest GIVE FPY A TRY, it’s not like anything you've experienced before.

I started Yoga at Florida Power Yoga four months ago and I cannot believe the progress I have made already. I can actually move my body around without aches and pains! Instructors Denice and Christy are both knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. For once in my life I actually look forward to my workouts instead of dreading them! When I first started at FPY I looked around the room at the experienced people and thought “wow, I’ll never be able to do that” but now I am strong, flexible, and have the endurance to do everything in the class :)

The answer is simple. We are masters at placing breath exactly where it belongs to engage your parasympathetic system to leave you feeling great! We have went through over 500 hours of on-site trainings to call us masters. Bootcamp teachers go through minimal teacher trainings and know very little about the human body. They are just putting you in yoga poses which is not yoga.
A simple answer. More people get hurt in bootcamps than any other fitness regime out there. The instructors are poorly trained on good form. They also are not trained well on how to give modifications that wont hurt people even more than they are when they start. We get so many clients who have been hurt in bootcamps. You have one spine. Protect it. People come to FPY with back injuries caused by bootcamp moves done without attention to how the person was doing them. We do get them feeling good after being injured. Why risk injury? If you want to lift, go to Impact Fitness as these guys are all well educated with a minimum of 4 years at Universities. These guys are the only guys I would let train my children.
Yes but not like the other studios in Florida. Our heat is the very best heating system that money can buy! It's a 28,000 dollar system that balances the heat to 90F at a humidity of 65% and the air exchanges every 3 minutes when the carbon dioxide censor registers 1000 parts per million. Sound scientific? You bet! I am a retired chemist and put the system together to deliver the very best feeling on your body to make it stretch and become more agile so you leave every class feeling fantastic!
