Taylor Stinnett was my advisor for a recall and Schrader value replacement. It was on Monday 8/15 8am. He was courteous and so were the greeters in the bay. He gave me his card and said his cell phone is there. It was good because I prefer to text and they can text back when they have some time. 130pm rolls around and I didn't hear anything, so I text for an ETA. 6PM and no response, so I text again if the car will be done that day or the following day. It's Tuesday and no text. I call the cell, no answer, so I call the dealer's various numbers, 1 person said I'll transfer to desk phone, no answer and no response to my voicemail. Another said she will message him, no response, the quick lane across the street said they will get me a response, nothing. Now I have to drive up there and get a face to face answer. I walk into the service desk and Taylor is sitting at his desk on his cell phone. I restrained my anger, told him to never tell another customer that your cell is the best way to contact you, because you didn't respond to me. I told him, is my car is done and to bring it up. He checks the system, says nothing was done because the technician was waiting on approval by me to replace the ac line instead of just the valve. I almost lost it, he then corrects himself and says he did actually complete the recall. I said good, return my car and give me the keys. No apologies, I can see the other advisors glancing over trying to see why I am talking with an assertive tone. I was never rude, just very direct in what I wanted. The nice older man that pulled my car up parked it in the parking lot, because I can't drive 2 cars at once. I had to go back home, then take a Lyft back to the dealer. I wasn't about to try and call them to get a Lyft, it probably would have never happened. Do yourself a favor, Parks Lincoln is a much better dealer and is up the street. Avoid this dealer unless it's a recall and can't go to another Ford dealer.

Highly recommend the service department at Elder Ford. Excellent service every time we need an oil change / the works. We will never use any other dealer to service our Ford vehicles. Recently they went the extra mile to assist us with a transmission / electrical repair on one of our Ford Fusions. They helped to get the vehicle into a state where it could be towed to the dealer, and then kept us informed at every step of the repair. Greatly appreciated how professionally the process was run. DEF Fluid not filled 2nd time. Every time I get my vehicle serviced I have to fill the DEF fluid myself. I have a service contract so they can’t say it’s not included. I get home after this service and look and my DEF level reads half full. That tells me that all my fluids weren’t checked and I question what else wasn’t properly checked. Going to take it to a different dealership for service from now on.
