If it were not for the Westfield Police I would of moved from Westfield a while ago because of how the college students act at midnight coming out of the bars. I appreciate there vigilance with that. The reason they are only getting two stars from me and not 5 is because of two reason. 1) A police officer pointed his rifle at my head after ringing my buzzer to get into my apartment complex because he was looking for someone else(I have complex PTSD(which is partly due to witnessing a loved ones suicide with a gun) and the officer triggered my PTSD). 2) I have come across many police officers illegally park (in a nonemergency situation) and get away with it. EDIT:I am increasing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars because the police have been pretty understanding of me when I have needed to call them (and helped me through a rough spot last night).

A Westfield native , here. I lived all over this beautiful country and have found the Westfield police Dept . Some of the kindest and caring men and women in blue and detectives all over. A great force for a great city. Thank y'all
